Brownies Cadillac

From the kitchen of Cadillac Ed in Yelapa, Mexico (RIP1988)



  1. VERY CAREFULLY... flash dry 1oz of the special ingredient, remove all seeds and stems etc... crush to a powder and sauté in 1/4 cup butter.. low heat... slowly!
  2. preheat oven to 350F
  3. melt in double boiler... 3/4 cup butter and 5 oz semi-sweet chocolate... **THEN COOL**
  4. beat until foamy **ROOM TEMP** eggs
  5. add **GRADUALLY** sugar and vanilla
  6. continue beating until creamed
  7. combine chocolate, sautéed mixture with eggs mixture **MANUALLY** with a few swift strokes!!
  8. before uniform in colour stir in flour gently
  9. again before uniform in colour stir in pecans gently
  10. bake in 9x9 pan 25 min.
