The 4 day trek... ferry to Samui, overnight... fly to Bangkok, overnight... fly to Singapore, overnight...
then it was the 14 hour long-haul, non-stop to Vancouver. We arrived 2 hours before we left. (time zone magic)
Lastly the 11 minutes in the air across the pond to Victoria. Whew!
